Welcome to the home page of MEMBREC symposia. The Cell Biology Program of University of Helsinki Viikki Campus Research Group Organisation – aim at organizing a series of symposia focusing on different aspects of biological membrane research. The symposium has been organized annually since 2012. This year it will be jointly organized with together with FIMM (Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland), Finnish Red Cross Blood Service and University of Eastern Finland.
The MEMBREC symposia focus on the current knowledge on biological membranes. The presentations will have both scientific and educational focus – making the symposia easy to follow and suitable for both experts and beginners. The fifth symposium in the series will focus on extracellular vesicles (EV).
