The Blood Service has been providing training to health care professionals for several decades. For example, laboratory staff, physicians, nurses, qualified chemists, public health nurses and midwives have complemented and deepened their professional skills at the training days and lectures provided by the Blood Service. Annually, more than a thousand professionals participate in Blood Service training.
