Depending on hereditary factors, a certain dose of a specific drug may cause adverse effects in one patient, but be well suited for another patient. With the help of pharmacogenetic testing it is possible to plan the patient's drug therapy as individually as possible, taking into account the hereditary factors. HLA testing can also be used for investigation of unexpected adverse reactions.
