Can you join?

Those who wish to join the Stem Cell Registry should be aged between 18 and 40 and in good basic health.

Please check whether you are eligible to donate stem cells.

For more information, call +358 29 300 1515 or send an email to kantasolurekisteri(at)

Young men are particularly needed, because men are selected as donors more often than women for biological reasons. The Registry currently contains more women than men.

Read more about the criteria for joining the registry at Frequently asked questions.

The joining criteria and possible health examination later on aim to verify that the donation will not harm the donor or the patient.
